The Right Path, From the Very First Note.
With our Conservatory-to-Play™ Pedagogy, learning the violin and string instruments is easy. We fast-track your child's success by starting to teach advanced conservatory techniques on day one, giving them a world-class foundation while keeping the journey completely easy and fun.
Starting on the right path helps a student learn quicker and enjoy music more. For our younger string players, we often incorporate this with games and rewards (but our adults enjoy them, too!).
Violin, Viola & Fiddle
Our private violin and viola lessons start for children as young as age 5! Whether your child wants to learn classical Suzuki repertoire or try their hand at traditional, high-energy fiddle playing, we customize the style to their interests.
Cello Lessons
The rich, deep tone of the cello is a beautiful choice for students. Due to the physical size of the instrument, most cello students start at 10 years of age or older, ranging all the way up to adults picking up the instrument for the first time.
All Ages & Levels
From young beginners taking their very first bow strokes to advanced teenagers and adults refining their expressive artistry, our private, one-on-one string lessons are perfectly paced for every unique student.
The Perfect Teacher Match
Our violin, viola, and cello teachers all hold university or college music degrees in their specific string instrument. Beyond their academic credentials, many of our instructors bring extensive professional performance experience playing live with orchestras and bands.
Because we have a diverse team of strings specialists, we are uniquely able to carefully pair students with an instructor who best matches their age, specific instrument goals, and preferred learning style.
Lesson Lengths Available:
- 30 Minutes (Ideal for young children & absolute beginners)
- 45 Minutes (Perfect for growing intermediate string players)
- 1 Hour (Recommended for advanced students or audition preparation)
