Our Mission
Our mission is at the heart of everything we do. It defines who we are and where we’re headed. With over 35 talented teachers from various backgrounds and specialties, we serve the Westside of Cleveland, Ohio, through three locations in Avon, Strongsville, and Fairview Park.

Our Purpose
We aim to help people grow as both musicians and individuals. Our passion for music spans teaching, performing, and helping students grow and mature through their musical journey. We offer lessons in nearly every instrument, with a focus on personalized one-on-one instruction for both kids and adults.

Our approach, The Foundation™, is the core of every lesson, no matter the instrument, age, or ability. It's grounded in building a solid foundation for a lifetime of musical enjoyment and fostering creativity. Research shows these elements are essential for effective learning at any age.

Our History and Expertise
Since our establishment in 2004, The School of Music has provided private lessons on all popular instruments and voice. Our mission is to equip every student with the skills needed to enjoy music for a lifetime. Our faculty is highly experienced, with many teachers recommended by members of the Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Institute of Music, and Oberlin Conservatory of Music. They have University-training in the instruments they teach, with many having post-graduate degrees. Our instructors specialize in adapting to each student's unique learning style, ensuring an individualized approach. We offer both private and group lessons, along with low-pressure recitals where students can perform if they wish. From beginners to advanced players, we provide international-level instruction in all music styles.

Our Impact
Many of our students have gone on to pursue careers in music, earn college scholarships, and make media appearances. But most importantly, they've developed a lifelong appreciation for the creativity, beauty, and wonder that music inspires.
